Luz Miriam Lopez Driscoll, DDS

Dr. Lopez Driscoll graduated from Princeton University in 1985 (BA in Field Biology) and the Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1989. After practicing with several dentists, Dr. Lopez Driscoll purchased her own practice in 1992 and has been serving the DC community in her current location since that time.

Dr. Lopez Driscoll creates a welcoming, friendly atmosphere where her patients feel at ease. She also understands that most patients are busy professionals with time constraints. While maintaining her attention to detail and individualized focus, she runs her practice efficiently and effectively.

Dr. Lopez Driscoll is married and has two college-aged children. When she’s away from the office, she enjoys traveling, yoga, boot camp, and gardening.

Elana Shlansky, DDS

Dr. Shlansky grew up in the DC area. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University. She obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where she participated in an honors program for Periodontics and Implantology, and was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.

She concurrently received a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree as a HRSA Title VII Pre-doctoral Scholar at the Columbia University Joseph L. Mailman School of Public Health.

After graduation, she completed a rigorous General Practice Residency at the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Staying in the Bay Area, she worked in private practice, at a non-profit community dental clinic and served as an adjunct professor at the University of Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. Pursuing her passion for public health, she returned to the San Francisco Veterans Affair Medical Center to treat medically-compromised and geriatric disabled military veterans. Her focus at the VA was on complex prosthodontic and implant cases as well as TMJ and sleep apnea disorders.

Dr. Shlansky, along with her husband and son, are excited to return to the DC area, In her free time, Dr Shlansky will enjoy the outdoors by hiking, skiing, rock climbing, scuba diving and traveling.
